2008 Pinot Noir – Adelaide Hills
Silver Medal – Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2009 – Class 2 Single Vineyard.
The grapes for this wine have been selected to truly create an outstanding Pinot. Best described as cherry in colour the bouquet and palate is that of summery plum fruits with hints of new and old French oak.
As is to be expected from a fine Pinot hints of cigar box characters linger to give an overall wonderful finish. The award given to this wine is well warranted.
2008 Shiraz – Victoria
Deep cherry red in colour with vibrant black berry hues, this wine has enticing aromas of pepper and spice. The palate is soft and generous with flavours of red berries, dark cherries and a hint of oak.
This delicious Shiraz is ideal for everyday drinking and will further develop over the coming years.
2008 Cabernet Sauvignon – Coonawarra
With fruit sourced from the famous Coonawarra region of South Australia, this cool climate wine has a fragrant nose, followed by a lively palate with touches of mint, rich dark plums and slightly herbaceous spicy finish. Delicate use of French oak combines well with the balanced fruit weight and acid structure. This Cabernet will benefit from further cellaring.
